Small open bag weighers and fillers are designed to accurately dispense both free-flowing and non-free-flowing materials into open-mouth bags. For free-flowing products like grains, pellets, or powders, gravity-fed or vibratory feeders with scale-based controls offer efficient, consistent filling. Non-free-flowing materials such as powders, pastes, or sticky granules are better handled by auger or piston fillers, which provide controlled, force-fed dosing. These compact systems are ideal for small weight ranges, typically from a few grams to several kilograms, and are commonly used in food, chemical, and specialty product applications.
